Canby is best known locally (in the greater Portland, Oregon metro area) as the home of the Clackamas County Fairgrounds. The city of Canby has hosted the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo since 1907, hosted at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds which are located north of Highway 99E in Canby. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds are used year round by various organizations for hosting events.

Canby Depot Museum
The Canby Depot Museum is the oldest remaining railroad station in Oregon. The first steam train traveled through Canby in 1870 and rail service became the main mode of transportation for local commerce. The station closed in 1976 and was moved to its present location at 888 NE Fourth Avenue, where it is open to the public without charge, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment.
Canby Ferry
A new Canby Ferry - known as the M. J. Lee, just like its predecessors - carries vehicles and
their passengers across the scenic Willamette River just North of Canby. Clackamas County
operates the electric-powered ferry between 6:45 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. daily. Motorcycles pay
50 cents per trip, cars and pickups $1.25, and larger vehicles $2.50 and up. A ferry has been
traversing the water between Canby and the Stafford area near Wilsonville since 1914, when the
Canby business community built the first ferry. The ferry is the only crossing of the Willamette
River between the bridge at Oregon City and the Interstate 5 bridge at Wilsonville.
St. Josef's Wine Cellar
Welcome to the warm European atmosphere at St. Josef's Wine Cellar. This family owned & operated winery has been handcrafting award-winning Estate grown wines since 1983. We are located on Barlow Rd, just South of Hwy 99E in Canby and neighboring the town of Aurora, a National Historic District. Owner and winemaker Josef emigrated from Europe and started producing wines using centuries old winemaking standards and traditions, making him one of Oregon s wine pioneers.

Portland Art Museum
Opened in 1892, the art museum was created for all citizens in the Portland area to enjoy. Permanent galleries include work from the Americas, Europe and Asia. Past exhibits have presented Native American Indians, regional artists, and the Stroganoff family of Russia.
Portland Children's Museum
Specifically designed for children under 10, this attraction is a child's sanctuary. The "Under Construction" exhibit allows children to pretend that they are architects and construction workers. Other exhibits include a babies-only room and a shopping area for older children to make them feel more grown up.
